WildPlaces was designed to give people living in urban areas of the North East the opportunities to experience and learn about urban wildlife. We have 72 camera systems across the region and have worked with over 60 schools and community groups to collect hours of amazing wildlife footage for everyone to enjoy. To see the best of the footage, visit www.urbanwildplaces.co.uk Practical conservation work is a big part of the project, so far we have created or restored 15 urban sites across the region through creating essential habitats for local wildlife.
